Social Activities

TUESDAY OPEN SEW - We have free time in our classroom on Tuesdays from 1pm to 4pm for those looking for a place to work on their quilting and sewing projects. Participants will need to bring their own sewing machine and supplies - we provide cutting, ironing, and design facilities. No cost or registration required.

SOCIAL KNITTING - Held Fridays from 10am to 12pm, Social Knitting allows you to meet new friends while finishing up old knitting projects or starting new ones. Knitting Instructor Jan Parson will be available most Friday mornings for advice, help or just friendly conversation! No cost or registration required.

KNIT NIGHTS - Held on certain Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm, Knit Nights are a night-time version of Social Knitting for those who can’t get away during the day. Enjoy the company of wonderful people while sharing the love of knitting. No cost or registration required. (Next Knit Night: Wednesday, August 30)

HAPPY HOOKERS - The Happy Hookers crochet club meets from 1pm to 3pm every Monday afternoon to learn, laugh and crochet with friends new and old. Everyone is welcome to attend - bring your hooks, your smile, and your projects and join the fun! No cost or registration required.

WOOLIES CLUB - Woolies meet together from 1pm to 3pm on the Third Wednesday of the month to share their love and knowledge of wool appliqué while working on projects and sharing new challenges! No club fees. Registration is optional but appreciated!

SOCK CLUB - Lyn Dorman facilitates a fun and informative club for knitters who enjoy creating or would like to learn how to knit socks. Meets the Second Saturday of the month and members receive 10% off all sock yarn purchases during club meetings! Registration is required.
