Survivor Shawl (Knit or Crochet)
In preparation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will once again be offering a night of survivor shawl classes.
Jan Parson will teach the knitting class and Ann Hughes will teach the crochet class.
Students will make a one-of-a-kind shawl from a magic ball made of several shades of pink yarn in varying weights and fibers. These balls will be wound by Jan and ready for students to begin knitting or crocheting at the start of class. The cost of the yarn is included in the class fee.
Students can choose to finish their shawls and keep them, give them to a friend who is battling or has survived cancer, or bring them back to the shop for donation to the Hickman Cancer Center.
Pre-registration is required in order for us to have enough magic balls for everyone. If you have any questions please call the shop at 517-438-8459 or email email@example.com.
